Springtime means warmer weather, sunshine, chirping birds, flowers and green grass. Come celebrate the season in Brooklyn Bridge Park! The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park, will kick-off the 2011 programming season with the 6th Annual Spring Fling.
This celebration of spring will feature Easter Bunny, AudraRox!, and Butterfly Boogie with the Wildlife Theater Company. Spot some birds with Brooklyn birdwatcher, Carolyn Murphy. Come to Pier 1 for an egg toss, egg roll, a duck race, and other games to get your feet moving! Karma Kids Yoga will also be there to help you practice your yoga poses, Ditch Plains joins the fun with tasty snacks, and New York Transit Museum and the Brooklyn Public Library will host activity tables. Rain or shine.

This family celebration will feature musical performances by AudraRox and The Wiyos, storytelling, face painting, and yoga with Karma Kids Yoga. The Brooklyn Bridge Park Bunny will make an appearance, and kids will be encouraged to take part in egg decorating and games! You can make a boat with the Brooklyn Navy Yard Center at BLDG 92, ride Jane’s Carousel (first 100 rides free), and make solar powered bracelets.
Join NY Transit Museum at their table for a fun activity. And visit theInventgenuity Workshop Mobile Studio and a chance to meet some of the masters of invention as they present their latest projects and allow you can create projects with insprired makers.
