Harvest Festival
at Brooklyn Bridge Park

The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park, will celebrate the fall season with a Harvest Festival on Pier 6!
This event will feature a Halloween parade, musical guests, face painting, storytelling, art activities, and pumpkin decorating.

The party that kicks off summer returns Thursday, June 2, with a hot, hot, hot evening of authentic Caribbean tunes, children's activities, a silent auction, and delicious island-inspired eats!

Ditch Plains, by Benchmarc Events, will provide Sunset Soca guests with their famous lobster rolls and more:

  • Scrumptious passed hors d'oeuvres: mini fish tacos, jerk chicken skewers, mini Hawaiian pizzas, & more!
  • At the Ditch Plains station: lobster rolls, mini pulled bbq pork sandwiches, wings, potato chips, & creamy coleslaw
  • For your sweet tooth: mini pineapple upside down cakes & coconut cupcakes
  • To snack on: a crudité station with fresh vegetables and dips
  • Kids will love: chicken fingers, pita pizzas, cookies, & rice krispie treats
  • And the speciality cocktail ... guava martinis. Yum!

Since 2001, Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy's annual Sunset fundraiser has raised money to support free public programming in the park. The Conservancy is proud to honor David Kramer and the New York Water Taxi & Helena Durst; these park champions have helped reclaim the Brooklyn Waterfront and bring Brooklyn Bridge Park to life.

Five Boro Bike Fest at Pier 1
Saturday, April 30

In connection with the 2011 TD Bank Five Boro Bike Tour (being held Sunday, May 1st), Bike New York presents the Five Boro Bike Fest on Saturday, April 30th from 10am to 4pm at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Kick off Bike Month (May) early! Check out the bike activities for all ages including helmet fittings, bike checks, bike tune ups, bike ID (run by NYPD Community Affairs), bike education seminars and clinics. In addition to the bike-related activities, there will be live entertainment, fitness-related activities, and giveaways!

Sing for Hope Pianos at Pier 1
Saturday, June 18 - Saturday, July 2
from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pop-Up Piano will be located at the base of the Granite Prospect on Pier 1.
Come down to the park and play for fellow visitors!
Sing for Hope, a NYC-based non-profit, will place 88 pianos in parks and public spaces throughout the five boroughs from June 18 - July 2. A symbol of Sing for Hope's commitment to make the arts available to everyone, the Pop-Up Pianos will unite and engage diverse communities throughout the city.
After their public residency, each piano will be donated to local schools, hospitals, and community centers to be enjoyed for years to come. To learn more about Sing for Hope, go to www.singforhope.org

Springtime means warmer weather, sunshine, chirping birds, flowers and green grass. Come celebrate the season in Brooklyn Bridge Park! The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park, will kick-off the 2011 programming season with the 6th Annual Spring Fling.
This celebration of spring will feature Easter Bunny, AudraRox!, and Butterfly Boogie with the Wildlife Theater Company. Spot some birds with Brooklyn birdwatcher, Carolyn Murphy. Come to Pier 1 for an egg toss, egg roll, a duck race, and other games to get your feet moving! Karma Kids Yoga will also be there to help you practice your yoga poses, Ditch Plains joins the fun with tasty snacks, and New York Transit Museum and the Brooklyn Public Library will host activity tables. Rain or shine.
