BALLOON RIDES:
Morning rides, 6:30 a.m., $185 per person. Evening rides,
6:30 p.m., $195 per person. Rides sell out early, reservations
can be made by calling 1-800-HOT-AIR-9 or through the
Festival's website at www.balloonfestival.com. All balloon
rides are wind and weather permitting.

BALLOON
ASCENSIONS:
Up to 125 Hot Air Balloons
Mass ascension twice daily
at 6:30 am & 6:30 pm
Special shaped balloons are the superstars of the balloon
festival. They secure the most popular and sought after
balloons in the nation year after year. New Yorkled has
been there for ascensions in the morning and the evening.

Activity will depend upon weather and wind permitting.

The Festival is the premier family entertainment event in the Northeastern United States and features 39 hours of affordable, non-stop, morning-through-night attractions including 5 scheduled mass hot air balloon ascensions with up to 125 sport and special shaped balloons from around the world; live concerts from Air Supply, Disney’s Hannah Montana star Emily Osment, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, and 80’s heartthrob Rick Springfield; a fireworks extravaganza; a nighttime hot air balloon glow where balloons are lit up like lanterns; the Quick Chek Hospitality Tent with age-appropriate children’s activities and entertainment; trapeze artists the Flying Pages; death-defying stunts from the Red Bull Air Force skydiving team; the Trinitas “Running with the Balloons” Charity 5K Race and Fun Run; interactive exhibits from leading brands such as the PNC Mobile Learning Center, the AT&T Technology Zone, the Zhu Zhu Pets Zhu-niverse, and Volkswagen – all for the price of admission!
Each year the Festival fills the skies over the scenic Hunterdon County countryside with the magic of ballooning: the awe-inspiring spectacle of gigantic, colorful balloons taking flight at sunrise and sunset. Special-shaped balloons scheduled to appear include the Quick Chek Fresh Farm; the PNC American Flag, the world’s largest free-flying flag at 53 feet tall, 78 feet wide and 29 feet deep; the 110-foot-tall lover bees and their new offspring Mini-Bee; the 110-foot-tall Pepsi Super Can; a 110-foot-tall clown; and the USGA golf ball balloon that is 52 feet in diameter and can hold 52 million golf balls!
