Four of America’s strongest men are meeting at Opening Day of the 2009 New York International Automobile Show to compete in a variety of contests that test pure strength and stamina.  American Strongman competitors Gerard “the White Rhino” Benderoth, Ben Lambousis, Skeet Dunn and Brett Somerville will demonstrate mind blowing strength exhibitions including a foot race while pulling a line of 10 cars!

Family Fun

The New York Auto Show is value-packed fun for the whole family combining the best place to compare the world’s finest cars and trucks with state-of-the-art displays, celebrities, prizes, giveaways, interactive exhibits and vehicle test drives. Come see the Car-toon truck that is covered in over 30,000 cartoons.  Bring the whole family to race one another at the Rolling Thunder Speedway stock car exhibit.  And another can’t miss – literally, is the life-size Chevy transformer!

Getting There:

Virtually any subway train will take you to midtown (42nd & 34th)
But, the Javits Center is pretty far to the west so you'll need a bus:
M34: Runs east/west on 34th Street. Stops on 11th Avenue outside the Javits Center and at Penn Station.
M42: Runs east/west on 42nd street. Stops directly outside the Javits Center and at Grand Central Station.
BUT be sure to keep a lookout for the signs on the vehicles since some of these cross town buses DO NOT GO ALL THE WAY Directly to the Javits Center.
