About NYC Museums...
I was able to identify 3 out of 6 paintings in my doctor's office one
day. 'Boy was I proud! 'Probably couldn't have gone further than
that. They happened to be Monet and Van Gogh (one of my faves).
Not everyone has a love for the artistic side of life as expressed
through sculpture, paintings, drawings, sketches and other media.
But if you should have a taste for viewing such artwork then you're
sure to find quite a huge offering within New York City's Museums.
Located throughout the city in many neighborhoods there's sure to
be something for everyone's taste.
As a matter of fact, not all museums are located within the confines
of walls. You'll find offerings such as two wonderful living museums:
Brooklyn Botanic Garden and
the NY Botanical Garden; there are also
the museums without walls: The
South Street Seaport Museum as well as Socrates
Sculpture Park, and let's not forget all the sculptures found
within our parks and streets along with all the great architecture.
