The following are
upcoming events to be taking place at the museum as generously provided
by CMA.
May:
- Children's Museum of the Arts’ Family Benefit and Concert
Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz of the Beastie Boys will serve as host and DJ for the Children's Museum of the Arts’ Family Benefit and Concert
Sunday, May 22
at Webster Hall, 125 East 11th Street, in Manhattan.
Tickets start at $25/kids, $100/adults. Ticket packages available.
The Family Benefit and Concert, generously sponsored by Trinity Real Estate, will feature a family carnival during the day, followed by a benefit concert in the evening. The event will support expansion of CMA’s free arts programming for children and the development of the museum’s new home at 103 Charlton Street. (CMA continues to operate in its current facility at 182 Lafayette Street in SoHo until the new space opens in Fall 2011.)

Located in Soho, the Children's Museum of the Arts is the only
children's museum in New York city that brings artists and children
together to create, exhibit and celebrate children's artwork. CMA
provides imaginative, interactive programs, activities and
events focusing on the visual and performing arts for children
ages 12
years and under. Included are permanent exhibits, as well as two
floors
of open art studios for hands-on projects, and exhibit spaces.
