"Founded in 1988...and chartered as an educational institution,
the Museum of Financial History is the nation's only independent public
museum dedicated to celebrating the capital markets -- and the industry
which has made New York City the financial capital of the world"
There is also a walking tour ("World of Finance") which'll
take you through the Wall Street District and lasts about 2 hours. It
meets at the Museum gallery at 10am Every Friday, rain or shine.
As a public charity, the Museum relies on your support to perform its
curatorial, exhibition, and education functions.
Admission to the gallery is a $2 donation
The walking tour costs $15/decreasing for students and seniors. No reservations
are required for groups of six or less.
The Museum is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am - 4
pm.
