New York City CROP Hunger Walk

at 2:00 pm
Taking place from 90th Street and Fifth Avenue down along the park to 55th Street and Fifth Avenue.
A reception for walkers will be held at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church at 7 West 55th immediately following the walk. Registration begins at 1 PM at the Church of the Heavenly Rest at 90th Street and Fifth Avenue. Manhattan Walk to Defeat ALS
Satruday, May 17
The ALS Association-Greater New York Chapter has scheduled the Manhattan Walk to Defeat ALSTM, sponsored by Capital One Bank. It starts at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 17 at Pier 46 (Hudson River Park). Money raised locally by the walks will help fund programs, services and research to find a cure.

AIDS Walk NY
Sunday, May 18
The AIDS Walk begins and ends in Central Park. Walkers should enter the venue at the corner of the park at 59th St. and 5th Ave. to turn in their funds.
This walk is 10 kilometers (6.2 miles)
and takes roughly 2-3 hours to complete.
