AWARD-WINNING COMEDIANS RAISE MONEY TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR 9/11 FAMILES AND FIRST RESPONDERS

Award-winning comedians raise money to support programs for 9/11 families and first responders. Performances by Jenna Axelrod, Harriet Halloway, Dave Konig and John Pizzi. Former Fox News Channel contributor Bill McCuddy will serve as the emcee.

On Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Caroline’s on Broadway from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, award-winning comedians will perform at Tuesday’s Children’s Second Annual Comedy Night, a fundraiser to support all of the families impacted by September 11th. The evening will include performances by top comedians Jenna Axelrod, Harriet Halloway, Dave Konig and John Pizzi. Bill McCuddy, a former contributor to Fox News Channel, will serve as the emcee for the event.

The evening will also include a special VIP Cocktail reception, open bar and a comedy show with a special guest surprise.

All proceeds will benefit Tuesday’s Children’s, a non-profit family service organization that has made a long term commitment to every individual impacted by the events of September 11, 2001 and more recently those who have been impacted by terrorist incidents worldwide. Since 2001, Tuesday’s Children has promoted healing and recovery by strengthening family resilience, providing individual coping and life management skills and creating community through programs, mental health support and family engagement opportunities.
