Official Wimbledon sponsor HSBC will bring an authentic tournament experience to NYC with “HSBC presents Wimbledon 2011 at Rockefeller Center”- a week of free activities Monday, June 20- Friday, June 24, from 7am-7pm daily at Rockefeller Center’s North Plaza, between 50th and 51st Streets and 5th and 6th Avenues, Manhattan.
Visitors are invited to play tennis on Manhattan’s only grass court, sample traditional Wimbledon treat strawberries & cream, play Wii tennis, get tips from tennis pros and more. Activities are open to the public at no cost and include:
- Live Wimbledon Screenings 7am- 5pm, followed by classic footage till 8pm
- Singles tennis on Manhattan’s only grass court, call 855-688-7715 to reserve court times
- Get tips from Gotham Tennis Academy pros at walk-in clinics June 21-24, 12-1pm/5– 6pm
- Racquet restringing courtesy of Prince daily from 11am – 1pm
- Play EA Sports™ Grand Slam® Tennis at Wii kiosks
- Enjoy traditional Wimbledon treat strawberries and cream from California Giant Berry Farms

To celebrate the first day of Wimbledon on Monday, June 20 from 12-1:30pm, former world #1 ranked players Monica Seles and Jim Courier will play with select fans on the grass court. Emmy-winning sports broadcaster Brett Haber will call the plays. |
