Madame Tussauds Honors Black History Month With Special Scavenger Hunt Featuring Prominent African Americans From Throughout History
Visitors Have The Chance To Interact With And Learn More About President Obama, Beyonce, Rosa Parks, New Sean “Diddy” Combs Figure And More
Madame Tussauds New York will celebrate Black History Month this year by taking visitors on an educational and entertaining scavenger hunt, featuring more than 20 wax figures of prominent African American icons. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about black history through Madame Tussauds’ scavenger hunt which kicks off on Martin Luther King Jr. Day; January 18 – February 28, 2010 at Madame Tussauds New York, 234 West 42nd St. (b/w 7th & 8th Aves.), Manhattan. FREE with admission to the attraction.
More than 20 African American wax figures will be a part of the scavenger hunt, which provides guests with an up close and personal look at African American culture through the decades. The attraction will feature the wax figures of famous and influential African Americans in our country’s history, including President Barack Obama, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, Oprah Winfrey, Muhammad Ali, Beyonce Knowles and Madame Tussauds New York’s newest addition, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The scavenger hunt, which is FREE with admission to the attraction and runs from January 18 through February 28, will be an exciting and interesting way for people to learn more about the contributions made by well-known African-Americans. Clues for the scavenger hunt can be found at www.nycwax.com where they can be printed at home or as an alternative, guests can also visit the admission counter upon their arrival to receive the clues.
