Canoe
Events:
Enjoy paddling along the Lullwater as we travel from the Boathouse
to the Lake and back, keeping an eye out for herons, egrets, and
hawks. Previous attendance at basic canoeing program required.
Bring a hat, water, sunscreen and a snack. First-come, first-served.
Beginners welcome.
Ages 8 and up. Be prepared to get wet/dirty.
Basic Canoeing Events:
Get wet (a little bit); spend some time with the Urban Park Rangers and learn
to canoe. It’s easy. In very little time, you’ll be paddling the
inlet like a pro, and ready to sign up for our many citywide canoe tours and
adventures. First-come, first-served. Ages 8 and up. Be prepared to get wet/dirty.
Bring sunscreen, water, and a wide-brimmed hat.
