Introduces A New Version Of The Classic For Children & Their Families

WHO & WHAT: Kids will be humming “New York, New York, it’s a Wonderful Town!” when Leonard Bernstein’s classic musical On The Town comes to new life in Inside Broadway’s brand new 50-minute version for kids and families. The 1944 musical is updated with modern dialogue and musical arrangements designed to appeal to today’s young audiences.

Families will enjoy all the zany adventures the three heroic sailors encounter when they visit New York City for the first time. Inside Broadway’s production runs for four Saturdays this spring at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in Greenwich Village, as part of Inside Broadway’s unique Weekend Family Theatre Series.

Audiences of all ages will adore this special version of the musical featuring songs such as I Can Cook Too, Lonely Town, and New York, New York. The show features a cast of seven performers accompanied by live music and is presented by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation.
