Riverside
Park - 72nd St and above - Take a nice walk along the Hudson River
through this park. Views of the New Jersey Palisades, and the George
Washington Bridge off in the distance along with all the benches
and grassy lawns will make this little trek a treat. But, watch out
for that deep incline...It's fun walking down into this park but you
always have to walk back up afterwards. Also here is Grant's Tomb,
and if you're really in the mood for a major hike, then go as far
up as Riverbank State Park and
Fort Washington Park where you can stand at the very foot of the George
Washington Bridge. click for more
