Manchester United FC fever is coming to New York

    Saturday, May 7

Soccer-01As a way to thank NY fans and reach out to new ones in the US market, Manchester United will host a giant FREE viewing party – live – for their match against Norwich City with the team’s legendary players Dwight Yorke and Andrew Cole at Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway, New York City. Although they’ll have to rise early – kick-off is 7:45 am – die-hard fans will have the opportunity to hear these legends share personal anecdotes from their time at the Club, and give pre-match predictions and post-match analysis of the game. There will also be entertainment, giveaways and competitions.

Tickets will be given away by random drawing, however, so fans are asked to register online for a chance to win admission (www.manutd.com/iloveunited). Registration deadline is May 2; tickets announced May 3.   United will host a simultaneous viewing party in Seoul, as part of the global ILOVEUNITED program that brings together fans of one of the world’s most popular and successful teams playing one of the most popular spectator sports on Earth.   More than 659 million fans follow the sport of football (or “soccer” as it’s known here in the US) – 8 million of them in the United States alone.
