The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum joins with Prohibition Productions to present an epic battle of the big bands and swing dancing on the flight deck of the historic aircraft carrier Intrepid on Saturday, May 28, from 7:30pm to 12:30am.

Celebrate the music, dancing and style of the swing era with a spectacular lineup of over 90 performers, including three of NYC’s best big bands—James Langton’s New York All-Star Big Band, George Gee Swing Orchestra, and Gordon Webster Big Band—a barbershop quartet and a female vocal trio. There will be a vintage fashion show and contest, a dance contest, swing dance performances, free beginner swing dance lessons and more!

Come “follow the fleet” in Navy-inspired outfits and vintage clothes. And bring your dancing shoes—there will be a 2,000-square-foot wood dance floor! A cash bar will be available, as well as snacks for purchase.

This event is for adults ages 21 and over.

Tickets start at $35.00.  VIP ticketholders will get an exclusive tour on the hangar deck and the chance to explore the Museum. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit their website.
