“”Chocolate Fest has just gotten a whole lot sweeter!
New exhibitors include Red Hook-based Raaka Chocolate, Nolita’s Stick with Me (whose owner/chocolatier is a Per Se alum), and specialty tea purveyors Serendipitea. Back by popular demand: Chocolat Moderne with cheese partner Lucy’s Whey, for great chocolate and cheese pairings; FIKA; The Grenada Chocolate Company; Pralus; Bonnat; Liddabit Sweets; Laurie and Sons; The Atlantic Confectionary Company; and Boston-based FIXX Chocolates. Also returning are our wine-with-chocolate partners Gotham Wines and Liquors and Guittard Chocolate, and artisanal ice cream exhibitor Penny Lick Ice Cream with an old-fashioned ice cream cart brimming with tiny cones of blond chocolate praline, milk chocolate and mini fudge pops.
This year also features an opportunity to hear from acclaimed journalist Simran Sethi, author ofBread, Wine, Chocolate: The Slow Loss of Foods We Love, on changes in our food system and ways we can save foods we love by savoring them.””
