Ever walk through Bryant Park in the Spring, Summer or Fall and wonder what all those chess boards were about? Wait! did you even know that there are plenty of chess games going on in our very own park behind the Public Library every day? Well, there are! Every day you can participate and get a table of chess for a mere $3.00 per half hour and a backgammon board for $4.00 per half hour. Hosting this daily event is the New York Chess Club & Backgammon. Weather allowing, you can find them in the park from 11am to Sunset. Otherwise, give them a call to find out where you could find them. |

| There's a weekly backgammon tournament within Bryant Park, weather permitting, if not then it takes place indoors. Registration takes place on the 3rd floor of NYC&B or within the Park. So if you'd like to learn more and pay a visit here: Have fun and Happy Checkmating! |
