Located in Brooklyn Heights is this little promenade. It's got
a fantastic view of the Brooklyn Bridge, New York City Skyline,
the Harbor and even South Street Seaport.
It really is awesome, it's right off Montague Street where you'll
find plenty of great restaurants.
Personally, I find the view at night to be almost breathtaking.
It's at this time that the city's skyscrapers are all lit up, and
with a good camera you'll be proud of your achievement!
Anyhow, it's definitely one of those go-out-of-your-way places
to visit! 'That is, especially when you consider how close it is
to Manhattan Island and the idea of first crossing the Brooklyn
Bridge, walking on by Cadman Plaza Park, then onto the promenade.
Afterwhich you could always go back to Montague Street for some
eats. Here is where you'll find restaurants of all sorts. From Indian,
Mexican and Italian to All American and Greek offerings. I've spent
many a Summer, Spring, Autumn and Winter evening in this area. 'Even
spent an evening on New Year's Eve at the Promenade...'Shhhhh, you're
not supposed to be there or anywhere outdoors with an open bottle,
'BUT, friends of mine who live in the area invited me to join them
in a champaign celebration of the New Year at this nice site. Great
memories of this little site for me, and maybe you too, might last
a lifetime!...Enjoy!
