NYC - Columbia University's Baker Field - New York City

Northernmost tip of Manhattan

Located right next to Inwood Hill/Isham Parks and just across from the borough of the Bronx, is Baker Field...Pretty much the only thing you'll find at this spot is Columbia University's Lawrence A. Wien Stadium...Opened in 1984, this 17,000 seat stadium serves as host to the University's Football, Track & Field and other sports events...

At the 218th Street entrance is the Chrystie Field House which contains the Mae Wien Center for Women's Athletics and which in turn serves as the locker room and training facilities for all other sports. It's about a 12 minute walk from the 225th St. stop of the 1 & 9 trains located at the Broadway Bridge and closer to the 215th Street Station.

Getting there by subway: 1 & 9 to 215th St. leaves you very close by or to the 225th St. at the Broadway Bridge; A to 207th St. which leaves you off a distance, yet still walkable.
