From various years and taken at either the Quickchek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning at Solberg Airport within Readington, NJ or at the Adirondack Balloon Festival at Crandall Park within Glens Falls, NY.

These were the three balloons first to take off on Saturday evening's hot air balloon launch at the 2011 Quickchek NJ Festival of Ballooning.
'and OH what a fantastic day it was for such a treat! I mean, yesterday was the very best I've seen in my years of visiting this festival. Mind you, this was the first time I witnessed the ascension two days in a row and I've gotta say, I'm mighty tempted to go back again today.
Hoping everyone's weekend has been swell thus far.

Balloon Fest - 2011 - VIII
Not quite finished with posting shots from this year's QuickChek NJ Festival of Ballooning.
'am kinda looking forward to next month's fest taking place in Glens Falls, NY which I'd visited years ago.
Not sure if I'll make it...but I'll certainly try.
'am thinking also of being better prepared next year for all the others which take place in New England's Summer Months.
As for NYC? The dampness continues...but at least it's cooler.

Might or might not be returning tomorrow. Was a great night with a great concert featuring Eddie Money followed by the best Fireworks I've seen in two years or more!
