Hot Air Balloon Festivals – Photos, Images & Pics

I got a kick out of this treatment. Tell me, does the one below remind you of anything? :-)

Been some time since I last played with Orton and well i wanted to convey how I felt. I'm just thinking and dreaming about the Balloon Festival coming up next month. The balloons here were captured at last year's event but the backdrop's actually from the Adirondacks, NY......White Face mountain to be precise which I'll be visiting once again very soon. (can't wait!!!!!!) For anyone interested in getting over to the Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning it'll be taking place July 25, 26, 27. But be forewarned since the weather these weekends usually turn out to be seriously brutal and there's never any guarantee that the balloons actually WILL be set off into the air. Yup, it's another from my Balloon Fest collection. Just hope it'll be a dry weekend when it come around this year at the end of July. :-) New Yorkled

Certainly not my best work...actually it was rushed while here in my hotel this evening. But dang if I needed to get something up on my stream tonite! LOL. This afternoons ascension of balloons wasn't exactly at it's best. Surely didn't feel like all the balloons one would expect had actually gone up. The Sun kept playing hide and seek with them clouds thus creating a bit of overcast weird darkness. 'and perhaps it was the air-pressure which played havoc with the inflations of certain balloons here and there. I don't know. Had wanted to return in the early morn tomorrow...alas I've another outing to tend to in Lower Manhattan...which I'll hopefully share soon....along with the many other shots from today's fest. QuickCheck New Jersey Festival of Ballooning - 2005

Managed to get such a kick out of this scarecrow balloon at the Balloon Fest. Can't say I've ever seen this one before. Actually there appeared to be an Autumn theme going on between this and the haunted house there below (barely visible). Unfortunately the balloons had gone up rather late on Friday but we're all content that they went up at all since it seemed for awhile that they wouldn't. Sorry to say that I did pass by again the next day but didn't stay long enough for that evening's ascension. :-( Anyhow, here's to next year. :-) New Yorkled www.newyorkled.
