From various years and taken at either the Quickchek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning at Solberg Airport within Readington, NJ or at the Adirondack Balloon Festival at Crandall Park within Glens Falls, NY.
As one can probably figure out, Hot Air Balloons have always been a huge favorite subject of mine to capture photographically. ‘and all the better when the weather’s cooperative. So join along and take a look at many of New Yorkled’s Balloon Shots.

What would you think if I sang out of tune
Would you stand up and walk out on me?
What a wonderful picnic it'd be...........
Thank you.
Image is of two photos separated by 2 years and two different lenses merged as one.

Hey! Where's Minnie????
Once I'd finished with this i realised how disney-esque it looked. Ack!!!!
I took an old shot from the Jersey Fest and mixed it with a 3d rendered sky...
Heck! If it weren't for fear of copyright infringement...I woulda' had Mickey hanging off the sides.

...with a little help from my friends
What might be my last photo (or not?) posted on Flickr of the 2007 Balloon Festival.
Again, I'd like to thank my friends and others here for all the fantastic support. You all ROCK! I love you guys for giving me so much continued inspiration and more. Seriously!
This year I found myself trying to get the very best photographs everywhere I went and because of that I've managed to break through chains and untether many binds to do things I've never done before. For this I am so very grateful. I found myself climbing across mountain-tops, crawling into spaces few people would venture into, following trails that would boggle the mind. Yet despite my limitations, (and only those who know me would know of which I speak)...I overcame!
My only hope now is that I might soar to yet greater lengths continuously. Rise up to greater heights and go down that unchartered road to see things I might never have seen otherwise. 'and to those of you who've got that spark in your hearts with that desire to DO...I say DO IT! JUST GO!
Sing along now:
Go...and go....and gooooooooo.........Go...and go....and gooooooooo.........

Front Page on Explore - August 17, 2008
Ya know how I enjoy mixing a bit of danger into otherwise peaceful scenes.....Bwahahahahahahahahahaha
Was out getting shots of clouds yesterday (yup, it was another interesting sky out there) and thought this clouds shot would make a great backdrop for these balloons. :-)
This would be the nineteenth in my 2008 NJ Festival of Ballooning Series.

Anyhow, here's yet another mixture of clouds I'd captured the other day along with a shot from the 2008 NJ Festival of Ballooning. This is the twentieth in my series.

Jack-O-Lantern in Mid-Air
Well, I accomplished what I'd come up here to do. To see at least one other Hot Air Balloon Ascension aside from the New Jersey Version. Here in Glens Falls, NY the turn out was very good with families, kids and dogs galore. Hehehe. The interesting thing is how everyone in the crowds were allowed to near the balloons as they were being inflated. Something yours truly considers to be real cool! Thanks to the folks who organised the Adirondack Balloon Festival and for this wonderful and free event!
Now, time to head back home. ;-)

'thar She Blows!!!
I really don't know how these fellas can stand it. Just from where I was the heat is really intense. Mind you this was my fave balloon of the bunch.

...amidst dark skies we go
Pretty certain I've never posted this shot before. 'and yup...of course it's a sky borrowed from a different day. ;-)

Hot Air Highs
Seems I wasn't the only one getting a natural endorphin rush from this event. Hehehe. Some folks were in awe and somewhat stupified whereas others were all over the place just as I was. I blurred a coupla faces though out of respect to folks' privacies.
BTW, I decided to go all out with this image and make it HDR through my own usual method in CS2.

Balloon Festival III
This was one of the many tens of balloons which went up into the air. You can see the feeding flames there as the folks waved to us all.

Should anyone be interested in seeing many more Balloon Photos then
please visit my profile to learn of yet another new site which'll feature those not seen here.
Here are the first three Hot Air Balloons to have taken off on Saturday Afternoon's Ascension at the QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning, 2007.
The head guy in charge timed it just right so's they'd leave at the very same moment as is evident in this photo. I've gotta say, 'been there to previous festivals and never seen anything quite like this. You'll see in later image posts of mine how spectacular it truly was. Imagine tens of hot air balloons all taking off in the span of a short time. The weather was seriously perfect for all this. :-)
