Here are images taken over a span of years at various locations within the New York City area. Although the bulk of these photographs had been taken in and around Central Park there are still others included which were photographed as far north as the Bronx and as far south as the borough of Brooklyn.
Unfortunately the NYC area usually has to wait until the latter part of October for the biggest signs of foliage to appear. Of course it'll depend upon the species of tree as well as the location. Yet for the most part one can usually depend on days just prior to and following Halloween as being the centerpoint for the peak season around the city.
In past years, yours truly has ventured much farther north for the sake of hunting out the foliage. We're talking about such spots within Westchester and even much further along the Adirondacks region. It's up there that one can expect the leaves to change as early as the first week of October. Well, that's been our experience in the past. But we'll leave such adventures for another page.
Soon to come will be information on one or more selected images from this particular collection to be available for free download (ONLY FOR THE SAKE OF PERSONAL USE). But such images will bear the New Yorkled trademark. Others for sale would be sans any markings and even then they're not to be used ever for resale in any way, shape or form.
