Blaine will be DROWNED ALIVE, 2006
...or will he?
May 1 - 8, 2006
At Lincoln Center (Columbus Avenue between 62nd & 65th Streets) Mr.
Blaine will be immersed and kept within a water filled container for a
week. At the end of this time the life-lines which feed him nutrition and
air will be cut off as he begins his next biggest feat of holding his breath
for a brand new world record which is currently at
the point of 8 minutes and 58 seconds. Mind you, at the time of my visit
folks were allowed to line up for the chance to touch Mr. Blaine's hand
through the Glass Sphere, pose for pics and wave hello close up. Supposedly
there'll be a ABC (Local station # 7) Television special on Monday, the
8th of May to cover his attempt at breaking the record.

David
Blaine's Vertigo in NYC 's Bryant Park, 2002
Learn about Mad Man David Blaine. The same mad man who was buried alive
for a week and frozen in a block of ice for 3 days. Now, after 35
hours on a 22" platform, 100 feet in the air, David Blaine's
to take the big jump into a pile of boxes this evening of May
22. The only thing I kept wondering about at the time was, well,
what if it rains? How about needing to go to the bathroom (for
which it turned out he had a catheter installed). How does he do
it? Nevermind if a strong wind happens to come down upon him. Sorry,
that's the mischievous side of New Yorkled talking. But hey! How's
it done? Well, what better place to perform such a stunt than in
New York City?
