You may have noticed that we've
been hard at work at catching up. That is, getting back to
posting all those many sights from outside of NYC. There's
still plenty to come so we hope you'll hang in there with
us and keep an eye out for the many additions to come in the
next few weeks. Most of which will deal with attractions in
New Jersey, Upstate New York as well as even Long Island.
We just want to share the fun of driving around with those
folks who love putting their cars in gear just as much as

Picking & other Autumn
Hotspots
That season is almost here. It
Should begin at and around Mid-August through late October.
Well, we're just about at that time of year when them apples
are ripe for picking! Here on New Yorkled is a listing of
spots near and far where you too can visit to pick your own
apples. But that's not all, since there are also those fun-to-visit
farms as well. It's actually a great experience for the whole
family so hold tight and enjoy the ride. See

Van
Cortlandt Manor, Croton-On-Hudson - Info and Photos
Visit this spot located in Croton, NY and get the in-depth
educational tour of this wonderful part of Hudson Valley
History. Hosts on hand are dressed in period costumes and
guide one no only through this home (museum itself), but
as well through the working farm and other structures on

Rockland
Lake State Park in Congers, NY - Info and Photos
Along Route 9W on the western side of the Hudson River
is this extra special state park featuring not only two
Olympic Sized Swimming Pools, but also a vast parkland
available for picnicking, rest and relaxation, dozing and
small time sports. Of course there's the lake itself which

scenic spot offers something for the entire family. From
live entertainment, to amusement park rides for Adults and
the Kiddies, from a beach and pool to plenty of dining spots

Washington
Irving's Sunnyside in Westchester - Info and Photos
Take a trip to this educational treat wherein you'll learn
not only of the great Washington Irving's history but get
an inside glimpse as well of how folks lived so very long
ago. Located along the Hudson River with wonderful vistas
you'll find yourself photographing the outside of this

Let this historic site in Sleepy Hollow, Westchester NY

Bear
Mountain Outlook, State Park & Bridge - Info and Photos
Accessible from both sides of the Hudson River is this
wonderful spot from which you'll get spectacular views
of the River below as well as the surrounding Mountain
Range. Beyond this point along route 202 is the Bear Mountain

August 5 through September 24, 2006
Pay a visit to this grande faire in Tuxedo, NY within Sterling
Forest and treat yourself to a fun day for the whole family.
